About Us | AI Wedding Planner
23 Apr 2025
đź‘° We're Linda & Rachel
A weekend florist with thorn-pricked fingers and a wedding coordinator who's counted votive candles in warehouses till 3 AM. After 300+ weddings, we know exactly what keeps couples awake at night—the hidden pitfalls, vendor loopholes, and budget black holes no one warns you about.

📦 It Started With a Dog-Eared Notebook
Back in 2013, Linda Park was an assistant at a San Francisco wedding firm when she noticed 90% of couples asked the same questions. Rachel Gomez compiled the Wedding Minefield Guide while working at a flower shop as a single mom. When the pandemic hit in 2020, we connected over shared frustrations and decided to use AI differently: To turn industry secrets into transparent decision-making tools.
🤖 The First Time We Chatbot, We Were Amazed—But Weddings Aren't Code
AI can instantly generate comparisons and calculations—but it doesn't understand why the father of the bride insists on white camellias. So we made a rule: Let AI handle 90%, but humans must run the final 10%.
🌱 We Don't Sell Plans—We Give You Judgment
- When vendors offer packages, AI reveals portfolio similarity scores
- Venue comparisons include word clouds from real couple reviews
- Budget tools show trade-offs like downgrade centerpieces to upgrade videographer
🎯 This Is Our Institutional Memory
No magic algorithms—just our decade-old field notes now interactive and searchable.
🍵 To Our Fellow Planners
We know transparency disrupts some industry norms. But what truly matters are those irreplaceable human nuances that should never be monetized as trade secrets.
đźšš Our Non-Negotiables
- No paid vendor placements
- Dual-layer AI/human review: Algorithms compute, hearts calibrate
Page one of Rachel's guide still reads: A wedding should be a celebration—not a puzzle or a human-vs-machine showdown.
We're Hiring:
- UX Designers who craft interfaces as intuitive as a first dance
- Wedding Industry Veterans ready to digitize their wisdom
Help us build tools that handle seating charts – and save human magic for the moments that matter.
Former florists, planners, and sentimental coders especially welcome.
Why Us?
"Because weddings deserve technology that feels human." – Rachel, Co-Founder
